Neighborhood Library

There are 2 new free book exchange libraries in our community.  One is at 8781 Lake Dr. It is in a little house at the end of our driveway. You are welcome to come by and take a book and leave a book. The second one is at the club house near the Norris Lake sign at the entrance to the community. This is part of an international book exchange project and our library is registered on their web site so others can find it.  You can go to their web sitewww.LittleFreeLibrary.org to see where more than 10,000 libraries are in 50 countries around the world. The purpose of the project is to encourage reading in our neighborhood from children to retirees. The variety of books in our library will depend much on the users as you leave your books on any subject from birding, gardening, novels, picture books or whatever is your passion.  We would also love to include children’s books for our youngest neighbors, so if you have some that you can donate please leave them in the library. We have met many new neighbors since putting it up.  Getting to know our neighbors is a way to build a sense of community and that can only be a benefit for all of us.  We hope you enjoy this new feature in our neighborhood.
